Pot Luck Supper and Membership Invitation

Welcome back to all members and their guests to the 2007-2008 season! We will start the evening off with a potluck supper. Each member is asked to bring their favorite dish to share and one cut flower from their garden. Don't forget to bring a perennial(s) to participate in the garden club's biannual plant swap! The evening will conclude with an outline of this year's exciting program by Connie Richardson.

Bronwyn has been a long-time member of the Litchfield Garden Club and has chaired both horticultural and flower shows. She has also served as the State Horticultural Chairman of the Federated Garden Clubs.

Anne Ciola

Anne Ciola is a registered nurse and former member of the Cheshire Garden Club. She attended the Alexis Carrington Gray School of Floral Design and is the owner of the Bethany Floral and Gift Shop. Anne will share her truly extraordinary designs with us for her second visit to the garden club, back by popular demand!

Attracting Butterflies and Birds to Your Garden

Kevin Wasilewski

In a joint meeting with the Woodbridge Garden Club, Kevin will discuss strategies for attracting butterflies to your gardens. Kevin has a B.S. degree in art and has over 25 years experience as a Master Gardener. Kevin is also a certified nursery man and is certified in organic lawn and garden care through NOFA. In addition to these accomplishments, Kevin is additionally certified with the American Dahlia Society.

Gina Mita

Gina, a former elementary school teacher has been a member of the Wallinford Garden Club for many years. She has extensive experience with perennial garden herbs and edible flowers. She will demonstrate and provide samples of her many recipes.
